Embroidery
Embroidery is a popular way to showcase your logo and promote your business. It is the longest lasting apparel embellishment. Unlike other imprint options, we can incorporate as many as 15 different colours in your logo at no additional cost, which makes embroidery a very affordable full colour option.
Embroidery is a process in which an embroidery machine is used to create patterns with thread on textiles. A logo is digitally converted into an embroidery file which is then loaded into the embroidery machine. Garments are placed in a hoop to be inserted into the machine for embroidery.
The hoop holds them in place while the machine stitches the logo. The embroidery machine uses the digital instructions from the file to create your logo in threads stitched onto your garment. Embroidery is used commercially in product branding, corporate advertising, and uniform adornment.
Many designs require more than one colour and may involve additional processing for appliqués, foam, 3D or other special effects. We price our embroidery services by the number of stitches the machine needs to make your logo. This is also called the stitch count.
Depending on the quality and size of the design, sewing a design file can require anywhere from a few minutes to over half a day. With the proper stabilizer, we can embroider onto most fabrics, blankets, bags, caps, and almost any garment. We have over 30 embroidery heads in house, and we are ready to take on your jobs.
Embroidery is a very stylish way to decorate or personalize your apparel. Embroidery is very versatile and can be done on many garments. Embroidery is the top choice for headwear. Embroidery is also recommended for jackets, hoodies, polo shirts, t-shirts, dress shirts, sweaters, bags, towels, blankets, patches and much more.
Ask us if embroidery is the best choice for your project.
Embroidery can be done on most garments however there are a few limitations. Think of embroidery in the same way as drawing with a crayon. It’s difficult to get fine details with a crayon, embroidery is the same. Some limitations are fonts smaller than ¼ inch tall or fonts with serifs. Gradients are very difficult to create with embroidery. Solid colours look much cleaner.
Certain garments and certain locations on the garments can’t be embroidered because they can’t be hooped. Our team has lots of experience in optimizing your logo for embroidery and we can guide you on what placements are possible. Our in-house digitizers will work with your logo until you are 100% happy with the finished product.
